Vienna Data Science Group and the Department of Economics of Central European University are excited to organise the first Data Analytics in Business Jamboree in Vienna on Friday, 2025 January 10, 3pm to 8pm.

The Jamboree brings together Analysts, Engineers, Data Scientists and Managers working in Business from Big Tech to startups to talk about their coolest analytics projects. The event is sponsored by CEU’s 1-year US and Austria-accredited Masters in Business Analytics program.

During the afternoon, there will be three talks on experiences of executing data analytics projects in business, three quick intros of projects by alumni, and roundtable discussions on AI in Analytics. The keynote address will be about managing data science teams, by Eduardo de la Rubia, Data Science Lead at Meta and Lecturer at CEU. The Jamboree will include a data job market open mic, where companies can briefly advertise positions, internships. A wine and cheese reception at the end will make it more fun.
